Powerhouse Litigator Claire K. Mitchell Joins Excello Law’s U.S. Team in California

Excello Law is delighted to announce that Claire K. Mitchell, a formidable civil litigator and trial attorney, has joined our U.S. team in Santa Barbara, California — bringing exceptional talent, energy, and a track record of high-impact results to our growing West Coast presence.

Claire’s career spans an impressive breadth of complex litigation. She represents both individuals and companies through every stage of disputes, with recent experience in business litigation, consumer class actions, and trusts and estates matters. Her practice also extends to breach of contract, fraud, workplace sexual harassment, elder financial abuse, real estate and cannabis-related disputes, and intellectual property issues.

Before relocating her practice to Santa Barbara in 2019, Claire was a litigation associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, advising high-profile entertainment clients such as Twentieth Century Fox Film. Her ability to navigate complex, high-stakes cases with strategic precision has earned her a reputation as a trusted advocate.

Claire holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law (2017) and a B.A. in International Development Studies with Highest Honors from UC Berkeley, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and honoured as a Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar.
